Most entry level motherboards do not come with the inductors and mosfets sinked. Running 125 watt and 140 watt cpus will usually overheat the mosfet and inductor areas. Common signs of overheating the cpu supply line: PCB browning top and bottom side of the motherboard, Lockups, Rebooting and windows BSOD.
